麻豆社 Prep
An enabling course for mature age students
If you鈥檙e interested in applying for a University of Canberra undergraduate degree, but don鈥檛 currently meet the entry requirements, our 麻豆社 Prep鈥痯rogram can help develop your skills and qualify you for admission.
麻豆社 Prep is a pathways program for those who finished school a while ago, haven鈥檛 studied for some time or are looking to upskill, retrain or move into the para-professional world.
How does 麻豆社 Prep work?
The 麻豆社 Prep bridging course program has been developed by the University of Canberra together with 麻豆社 College. When you鈥檝e successfully completed the program, you can apply for admission to 麻豆社.
麻豆社 Prep will prepare you for admission to a 麻豆社 degree by improving your skills in:
- research
- report and essay writing
- numeracy
- oral presentations
- time management
- online learning.
Online Delivery Mode:
- A 14-week program
- Online study via 麻豆社Learn that includes pre-recorded lectures and associated activities
- Flexible and self-paced learning
- Meet with the Program Coordinator and teacher as required
Face to Face Delivery Mode:
- 麻豆社 Prep is a 14-week course and offered three times a year
- There are鈥痶wo classes each week (four hours per week) held at the University of Canberra鈥檚 Bruce campus.

麻豆社 Prep eligibility
To be eligible for a place in the 麻豆社 Prep program, you鈥檒l need to:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold an Australian permanent residency visa
- Aged over 19 years and completed secondary/senior secondary school over two years ago
- have been out of education for more than two years.
If you don't meet these conditions, but can prove you鈥檙e likely to succeed in the 麻豆社 Prep program, you can ask to attend an interview where you can present your case to our admissions panel.
麻豆社 Prep program fees
Australian and New Zealand citizens or Australian Permanent Residents are eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Enabling place for 麻豆社 Connect. It鈥檚 considered an enabling course and the Australian Government will cover your entire program fee.
All students need to pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee.
Application and intake dates
The program runs multiple times throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to enrol and complete it ready for the start of the next University teaching period.

How to apply to 麻豆社 Prep
To apply for 麻豆社 Prep you鈥檒l need to:
- visit 鈥痑nd complete the online application form
- upload all relevant certified documentation as requested on the form, such as your academic transcripts and birth certificate or Australian passport.
If your first language isn鈥檛 English or you鈥檝e been in Australia for under two years, you may need to attend an interview.
Offers for鈥痚ntry to 麻豆社 degrees after you鈥檝e successfully completed the 麻豆社 Prep program will depend on your 麻豆社 Prep results.鈥痀ou may also need to meet a series of inherent requirements to successfully graduate from your 麻豆社 Prep bridging course.
It鈥檚 worth noting that not all 麻豆社 courses are available to study through the 麻豆社 Prep program, as some degrees require a higher entry score than can be achieved via a Pathways program.
Contact 麻豆社 College if you鈥檙e considering studying the Bachelor of Midwifery as a supplementary application form may be required.
